O'Neill Mens Hyperfreak 1.5mm Tb3X No Sleeve Wetsuit Vest

  • Thickness - 1.5mm: used throughout the suit. 1.5mm is flexy and very effective at moderate insulation and cutting wind chill, but not enough for a winter wetsuit throughout most of Australia.
  • Neoprene - Technobutter 3X needs to be felt to be believed - supple like melted butter, warm also like melted butter and stretchy like some kind of super stretchy butter, if such a thing exists. Better still, this latest version is made up of recycled plastic, discarded oyster shells, old car tyres and limestone neoprene (derived from limestone, not petroleum production).
  • Limestone: Neoprene derived from Limestone is touted to be a more environmental method for producing the foamy, rubber-esque material that lives in the middle of the neoprene sandwich.
  • Aqua Alpha Solvent Free Lamination: ditch the nasty glues and take Aqua-α solvent free route, its better for everyone/everything.
  • Made with recycled materials: Plastic, car tyres, discarded oyster shells and more!!
  • Eco Carbon Black In Neoprene: long story short: old car tyres are melted (not burnt) in a process called pyrolysis. Its then turned into a better kind of rubber (your wetsuit!). About 35% of the total weight derived from a recycled tyre is Carbon Black.
